February 20, 2010 - Dinner including shrimp and steak highlight this fabulous dinner, brought to you by Mont Alto's "FIREHOUSE CATERING."  Dinner will be held in conjunction with a cash drawing.  Price is $25.00 per person.  Doors open at 4:30 pm, meal from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Drawing every 15 minutes, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

April 18th, 2010 - The Shriner's & MAVFD will be hosting a basket bingo with doors opening at 11:00am, games begin at 1:00 pm.

April 24th - The annual carnival picnic for all carnival volunteers for the 2009 carnival.  NOT A PUBLIC EVENT!!  Sign up now at the fire station.

May 22th, 2010 -  Truck & tractor pull sanctioned by the Interstate Truck & Tractor Puller's Association.  The following classes will be in attendance: 1850 Mini Rod, 4000 Small Block 4x4 Trucks, 8000 Street Diesel 4x4, 11000 Pro Farm and 8500 Mod Turbo.  $10.00 adults, $5.00 (8-12 years).  Kitchen opens at 4:00 p.m. and event starts at 6:00 p.m.

June Events

35th ANNUAL CARNIVAL:

June l8th to 26th, 2010 - Come visit the areas largest carnival!  Enjoy Mont Alto's famous french fries and funnel cakes as well as the other great food items, great rides by Pennwood Amusements, free entertainment and plenty of free parking.  Bingo will be held every evening.  Kitchen opens at 5:30 pm, games bingo and rides open at 6:00pm.  Entire schedule coming.

FIREWORKS NIGHT EXTRAVAGANZA is scheduled for Friday, June 25, 2010. 

Located at the NEW MONT ALTO FAIRGROUNDS FACILITY on Route 997 (Anthony Highway) behind the

Ambulance Squad in Mont Alto, PA.  Come see our 15-acre, six-building complex including gaming pavilion, bingo hall, large kitchen with indoor & outdoor dining, and entertainment stage.

JULY 3th in WAYNESBORO

July 3th, 2010- - Come visit the Mont Alto food trailer at the Waynesboro Summer Jubilee.  We will be located across from the Waynesboro Hospital, serving our famous french fries and other assorted food items from morning until night.

TRACTOR & TRUCK PULL:

10th ANNUAL LION'S CLUB TRAIN SHOW & FIRE ENGINE RIDES

November 6th, 2010 - See trains, train memorabilia and collectables at the Lion's Club's annual train show, held here in the social room.  There will be free engine rides during the show.

12th ANNUAL TOY DRIVE:

December 18th, 2010 - The Mont Alto Volunteer Fire & Ambulance company will be assisting Santa Claus while he delivers toys, food and other items to area children and families.  Santa and his elves will be trading in the sleigh for one day and riding in fire and ambulance apparatus!
