Engine and Tanker on the 2nd Alarm House Fire

 

June 14, 2013- As members were preparing for the 1st night of the Carnival at 1547 Box 7-4 was struck for the House Fire at 1531 Hearthside Drive. Deputy Chief 7 arrived with Heavy smoke from the C side establishing Command 7. Tanker 5 arrived 4th due and assumed Water Supply and sending manpower to assist with Fire Attack. Crews pulled a back up line from 7-1 and finding heavy fire in the attic. Engine 5-1 responded on the 2nd alarm and staged sending there manpower to the scene. Crews cleared around 2030. Back home other members were packed with a HUGE crowd for the 1st night. Just a reminder that the carnival is on till June 22nd with the Fireworks being June 21st. Hope to see everyone come out for some good food and fun.

House Fire

 

April 30, 2013- Engine 5-2 responded on Box 2-50 for the House at 8778 Stottlemyer Road. The Engine arrived and assisted with salvage and overhaul till placed in service by Command 2.

Apartment Fire

 

April 25, 2013- Engine 5-2 responded on box 2-01 to 218 Hawbaker Ave. for the Apartment building fire. The engine arrived and was assigned to check the exposure building for extention. With none found the Engine crew assisted in the fire building till released by Command 2 at 1818.

Door Pop

 

April 24, 2013- Engine 5-1, Squad 2, and MICU 7-7 responded to the 3400 block of Anthony Highway for reported auto accident with entrapment. Chief 5 arrived with 1 auto into a telephone pole with confinement. The Engine crew arrived removing the drivers side door. The Engine assisted EMS with patient packaging till placed in service by Chief 5.

 

 


 

House Fire

 

April 20, 2013- Tanker 5 responded on the initial alarm on Box 7-6 to 8202 LWE for the House. The Tanker arrived and supplied Engine 7-1 with there water till reassisgned to assist in the water shuttle hauling 6 loads of water. Tanker 5 was placed in service at 1804.

Auto Accident

 

April 19, 2013- Engines 5-1, 5-2, Squad 2 and Ambulance 5-9 responded to 6106 Furnace Road for the auto accident. Engine 5-1 crews assisted EMS with patient packaging till LT 5-2 placed the box in service.

 

 


 

Thames Lane House

 

April 18, 2013- Engine 5-1, Tanker 5 and Engine 2-1 that was on transfer responded on Box 2-50 for the House fire at 11542 Thames Lane. Company 5 units arrived and assisted with Fire attack and extensive overhaul till released by Command 2.
