Mrs. Judy A. (Creager) “Nanny” Kriner, 84, of Mont Alto, PA passed away unexpectedly, Friday, September 15, 2023, in her home.

Born August 1, 1939 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elaine (Craybill) Creager.

Mrs. Kriner graduated from Waynesboro Senior High School with the Class of 1957.

She and her husband, the late Terry L. Kriner, were married on August 7, 1960 in Mont Alto. Mr. Kriner died on June 8, 2023.

Mrs. Kriner worked as a receptionist at several doctors’ offices in the Chambersburg area. She retired in 1996 after more than 27 years of service.  Following her retirement, she substituted at Heritage Academy for several years.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Waynesboro and was a life member of the Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing games, crocheting and going to kids events.

She is survived by three children, Kim Shank and her husband, Eric of Waynesboro, Jeff Kriner and his wife, Linda of Mont Alto and Missy Smetzer of Mont Alto; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
